This is me,
I love to shoot outdoors, both for the light, and for the way it makes my subjects feel: that instant relaxation and happiness that only being in nature with loved ones can bring. Whether it’s a Summer's meadow, Autumnal leaves, Bluebells in Spring, or a crisp Winter's morning, I see nature as the perfect backdrop to create your magical moments.
Living on the border of Herts and Beds, I’m surrounded by beautiful natural backdrops that inspire my family portrait photography. Wherever you live I know so many beautiful spots that will be perfect for your photographs, and I'm always keen to discover new ones, if you have a special location in mind.
Where I came from
Creativity is in my DNA, and photography is how I express myself. My first career in advertising, art directing photographers taught me so much about how to create the perfect image, that tells a story and captures the essence of the subject. But I wanted more creativity. And more authenticity. That’s why I started my first business, Journeys Bound, hand-crafting micro photo books and bespoke photo albums, turning memories into heirlooms.
Looking at other people’s beautiful photos inspired me to pursue my own portrait photography. I still make the photo books, just get in touch if you’d like one!
Where I am now
Becoming a mum made me fall in love with the art of photography myself. My daughters were my first subjects and I got so much joy and creative satisfaction from capturing the seemingly small moments of simple things that are so easily overlooked. Catching these unique, fleeting expressions is a special kind of magic.
Because the small moments are always the big moments, that matter most.
